Nikita Holcombe is an independent writer, curator and researcher living and working on Wurundjeri land. Her research looks at the legacies of colonisation within Australia and the depiction of violent acts using subversive techniques in contemporary art to induce empathy, understanding and community. She holds a Bachelor of Art Theory (Honours, First Class) from the University of NSW.
